The official character profiles list the human cast from 138 cm to 200 cm — but the Titans that terrorize them are measured in meters, with the biggest of them all standing 60 meters tall. Here is what makes those numbers interesting.

The Human Cast: From 138 cm to 200 cm

Every character's height comes from the official stats published in the Attack on Titan manga volume extras and guidebooks. Most adult soldiers sit somewhere between 155 cm and 190 cm, which makes the extremes stand out even more.

• Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman are both exactly 170 cm — rare symmetry for the leads of an action series.
• Captain Levi stands just 160 cm, making him one of the shortest members of the Survey Corps despite being humanity's strongest soldier.
• Mike Zacharias tops the list at 200 cm, tied with Rod Reiss in his human form as the tallest characters in the story.
• Bertholdt Hoover is a towering 192 cm — fitting, since he pilots the 60-meter Colossal Titan.
• Erwin Smith (188 cm), Kenny Ackerman (190 cm) and Zeke Yeager (183 cm) are all notably tall authority figures.
• At 138 cm, Gabi Braun is the shortest character in the database — she is a child soldier from Marley, so the small stature fits her age.

• The Colossal Titan is the biggest Shifter at 60 meters (about 200 feet) — tall enough to peer over the top of the Walls, which it proved by kicking a hole in Wall Maria's gate.
• The Armored Titan, held by Reiner Braun, stands 15 meters and plows through gates and buildings armor-first.
• Eren's Attack Titan is also 15 meters — an exact match with the Armored Titan, which is exactly how their clashes are framed.
• The Female Titan, held by Annie Leonhart, stands 14 meters with fast regeneration and sharp combat reflexes.
• Zeke's Beast Titan is the tallest of the standard Shifters at 17 meters, with long arms built for throwing projectiles.
• The War Hammer Titan, kept by the Tybur family for generations, is 15 meters and can forge weapons out of hardened Titan flesh.
• The Founding Titan stands a modest 13 meters — small stature, world-ending power.

The Walls Are the Biggest "Characters" of All

The three Walls — Maria, Rose and Sina — are 50 meters tall, and they are the single largest structures in the height conversation.

• The Walls are named after Ymir Fritz's three daughters: Maria, Rose and Sheena (rendered as Sina in the anime localization).
• They are made of hardened Titan bodies — thousands of 50-meter Wall Titans are entombed inside them, only slightly shorter than the Colossal Titan itself.
• Humanity enjoyed about 100 years of relative peace behind the Walls before the Colossal Titan breached Wall Maria in the year 845.
• Those entombed Wall Titans are the engine of the Rumbling, a doomsday weapon that can flatten the entire world — and one that Eren ultimately sets in motion.
• Paradis, the island inside the Walls, is the last remnant of the Eldian Empire; Marley, across the sea, is where the enemy Warriors come from.

How Titan Powers Work

Titan Shifters do not just grow large — each inherits one of nine specific powers, and the system has strict rules.

• The Nine Titans are the Founding, Attack, Armored, Colossal, Female, Beast, Jaw, Cart and War Hammer Titans.
• All of them trace back to Ymir Fritz, the first Titan, who gained her power about 2,000 years before the story begins.
• The "Curse of Ymir" gives every Shifter only 13 years to live after inheriting their power — because Ymir herself died 13 years after gaining hers.
• A Shifter's power is passed on when another Titan eats them; that is how Armin inherited the Colossal Titan from Bertholdt.
• The Founding Titan can command ordinary Titans and control the bodies and memories of Eldians, which is exactly why Marley's Warriors were sent to steal it.

• The gap between the tallest human (Mike Zacharias, 200 cm) and the shortest (Gabi Braun, 138 cm) is 62 cm — nearly two-thirds of a meter.
